Jamawar
Jamawar (or Jamavar) is a luxurious, intricately woven fabric originating from Kashmir, historically made from silk, pashmina, or fine wool, known for its dense, complex patterns like paisley and florals, created using tiny spools (Kani) or supplementary weft techniques, resulting in rich designs often used for shawls, sarees, and robes, though modern versions use silk/polyester blends.
